The hotel offered excellent service and had beautiful views of the town and surrounding area. the staff was friendly and accommodating to guests' needs, offering help with reservations and suggestions for activities. Rooms were spacious and luxurious, with amenities such as private plunge pools and cave-like bathrooms. the included breakfast was served with great attention to detail.
While the hotel staff was attentive and helpful, some guests noted the low wages paid to employees in Greece.

Everything was the best: the best location (better then near windmill), freindly staff (it is very important in Santorini, because walking upstairs and downstairs with laggage is very hard). Two-floors room was the unique expirience for us!
Poor breakfast - only bread, jam, 1 cap of coffee or tea (more then 1 - for chage) and sour orange fresh. Sandwiches were for charge.

Celebrating New Year’s Eve at this hotel was an unforgettable experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby tourist spots and a stunning view of the island. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary champagne and fireworks that the hotel provided, making our celebration even more special.
That the room was a bit small and not as luxurious as we expected. the morning breakfast buffet was limited in options, which was a little disappointing.

The location is great and Oia is the nicest part of Santorini. View is fantastic. Hotel manager is incredibly hands-on,very friendly, and helpful in providing information for things to do around Santorini or miscellaneous items like car-rentals.
The bathroom was really really small and cramped. We were expecting at least a tub, but it had only a small shower area that was poorly shielded and the entire bathroom floor gets wet when one takes a shower even if you're very careful. On top of that, the shower curtain had mold on it and that left us a little uncomfortable.

We were really impressed by the lovely Alta Mara when we first arrived there. Fantastic view and lovely room plus the best staff they have in this small hotel. the hotel manager , Dimitri was certainly sophisticated and helpful enough. He kindly gave us lots of tips and instructions on how to enjoy ourselves on this island. Great trip! Thank you!

The scenery was breathtaking. the room was cozy and had a Jacuzzi. the staff was accommodating, there were people in the lobby, waiting to greet us. There were candlelit dinners with beautiful views. They even had fruit platters in the morning.
The location was not great. the neighborhood was too noisy.

The view was beautiful and the service was great. The breakfast that was included was fruit salad and pastries/breads. Doesnt sound like much but was great and filling! Could even have breakfast served on your own balcony for no extra charge.

Our stay at Alta Mare in Santorini was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to assist us. The views from the infinity pool were breathtaking and the location close to great restaurants was ideal. The room was lovely, with stunning views, and the turn down service was a nice touch. The breakfast brought to our room each morning was delicious, and eating while looking out at the sea was a real treat. We highly recommend staying at Alta Mare.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The views were absolutely amazing, and look just like they do on the website-- perhaps better in real life. The staff were all helpful and very nice/accommodating. Breakfast was adequate with fresh fruit, coffee/tea, orange juice (fresh!), and assorted croissants/breads with various jams. The staff will bring breakfast to your room, and we liked to eat privately on our balcony while taking in the gorgeous caldera view while sipping our tea. The hotel is very quiet and relaxing, a nice respite from sight seeing during the day.
Not much to complain about. Just a word to the wise, we stayed in the Ios room and our friends stayed in the Andros room. These appeared to be the largest rooms with the best balconys in the hotel. The other rooms were smaller, and the balconys were not as spacious so I'd request the Ios room or the Andros room for your visit.

The terrace in front of the room very has good view. In addition, the hotel faces the west, and it appears to watch the whole view of the town where the morning sun was. Breakfast space of the poolsides is a superb view.
